Basking in the Sun Tea
Sun tea couldn’t be easier. The ingredients are:
- A gallon of water in a clear plastic jug with a watertight lid
- 4 Tetley British Blend Tea Bags
– the round ones with no strings or tags
This one is dead simple. Set the jug in the sun for an hour. If you’re underway, be sure to tie it on. (Because you’ve pledged to add no plastic to the ocean, right?) When it’s tea colored, fish out the tea bags. Chuck the jug in the icebox.
Add sugar, lemon or both to each insulated glass (Tervis Tumblers are a good choice) as you serve over ice.
Perfect to keep the helmsman alert on a hot day.
